Most tools charge per seat, so adding a volunteer coordinator or a new programme lead has a price attached — and the people who most need access are the ones left off the licence. NGOstack charges per organisation instead: one subscription, every member included, no seat counting at renewal.
Around that sits the admin work you would otherwise spread across several separate tools — member roles, an organisation profile, a verification funders can check, shared files, and the connections that push your work out to the sites and services you already run.
Add everyone, not just the people you can afford to licence
Org-wide access means unlimited members on one subscription. Bring in part-time staff, board members and long-term volunteers without recalculating anything, and stop treating access as a budget decision. What you pay depends on where your organisation is based, and verified NGOs pay less — the pricing page sets out the tiers.
Profiles and roles in one place, filled in faster
Manage your organisation, its members and their roles from a single screen, so joiners and leavers are a two-minute job rather than a ticket. AI profile autofill drafts a member or organisation profile from a document or a link you already have — an annual report, a funding application, your own website — so nobody starts from an empty form. Organisation verification then earns you a credential that tells funders and partners you are who you say you are, before the first conversation.
Shared files, on your storage if you prefer
Org file storage gives you an organisation-wide space for folders and files, kept separate from individual project attachments. Share a folder or a single file with named co-members or accepted connections rather than publishing it to everyone, and control who may add, edit or manage. If your data has to live somewhere specific, external storage lets you point new uploads at an S3-compatible bucket or a WebDAV server you already own — the connection is tested with a real file before it is saved, and anything already uploaded stays where it is.
Publish and connect without a second system
Social and CMS publishing sends updates to the accounts you already own — Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Mastodon, WordPress, Ghost and others; check which are live in your account, as the list varies. It is manual and publish-only: someone on your team composes and sends each post, and nothing is read back. Outbound webhooks send HMAC-signed events to your own HTTPS endpoints when a project update is published or evidence changes, which is enough to wire NGOstack into Zapier, Make or an internal service. External integrations and AI agent access (MCP) cover the rest, using scoped tokens you can revoke.
The smaller details that make a working day easier
Dark mode is a per-member toggle, remembered across sessions, for the people who spend the evening in a report. Carbon footprint tracking is the other half of that quiet housekeeping: we measure and openly report the platform's energy use and CO₂, and offset our footprint as funding allows.
