A wiki for how your organisation actually works
Wiki spaces hold SOPs, guidance and the reasoning behind past decisions, in nested pages you can link to each other with mentions and backlinks. Full-text search means a new colleague can find the safeguarding procedure without asking three people, and version history plus a trash bin mean an accidental edit is not a lost document. There are personal spaces for your own notes, an organisation space for the whole team, and workspace spaces tied to a particular project.
Databases that point at your real work, not a copy of it
Wiki databases sit inside your spaces and hold structured records — a risk register, a partner list, a grant tracker — with six views to read them through (table, board, calendar, gallery, list, timeline) and fifteen column types to describe them. What makes them worth keeping current is that relation columns point at your real projects, milestones, evidence and funders, so a tracker reflects the work rather than drifting away from it a fortnight after someone set it up.
Bring your existing records in, and get IATI-shaped data out
You can move what you already have across by CSV or Excel, or run a faithful migration from Notion by pasting your own integration token, which is used for the request and not stored. Going the other way, IATI-shaped databases export as IATI 2.03 XML. Treat that export as IATI-aligned rather than certified — it is a subset, so validate it before you submit anything to a funder or registry.
The same editor in the browser and on your desktop
Spaces and databases work the same way in the browser and in the desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux — the same editor and the same databases, not a reduced version. Both read and write the same live data, so there is nothing to sync between devices and no second copy to reconcile. The mobile app has a wiki module but is still catching up, so treat phone access as work in progress rather than finished.
